Можно ли купить билеты на входе, и стоит ли это делать?

Да, можно.

И сотни туристов ежедневно именно так и делают — идут в обычную кассу на входе. В итоге в очереди можно простоять около 1 часа, и затем еще около 1 часа — в очереди на входе (поскольку все, купившие билеты в Версаль в кассе, затем идут внутрь).

Вот что в итоге вы увидите:

  • -2 часа времени (минимум, в пик сезона может и больше), вы попадаете внутрь не сразу после открытия (8-00 для парка), а к 10-11 утра (а где-то с 12 до 15 в Версале — час пик);
  • меньше сил — стоять 2 часа в очереди не очень-то приятно и легко (а если вы с ребенком — еще и он может капризничать);
  • если возникнут какие-то вопросы при покупке или выборе билета — решить их не получится, если вы не знаете французского или английского (поскольку на русском кассиры не говорят).

Такая прогулка в Версаль может быть испорчена: вы устанете еще до входа в парк, и не успеете осмотреть все красивые места. Поскольку комплекс достаточно большой, даже 1 целого дня с открытия до закрытия может оказаться мало.

Если решили купить билет в Версаль в Париже на низкий сезон — очередей будет меньше. Однако и интересного внутри тоже будет намного меньше: в межсезонье выполняются ремонтные работы, фонтаны могут отключать, а в плохую погоду — парк вообще могут закрыть.

Виды и стоимость билетов на официальном сайте

Если не хотите стоять в очереди к кассе — можно купить билет в Версаль на официальном сайте.
Но будьте готовы разбираться в корявом переводе Гугл Переводчика — сайт работает только на французском и английском языках. Если бы билет был 1 — его можно было бы купить без проблем, так как не нужно выбирать.

Versailles Palace Visiting Conditions in 2023

The Palace has implemented the following safeguards and rules to protect visitor safety and limit tourist numbers:

  • Visitors will be admitted in predetermined time windows. Please stick to your time slot.
  • Tickets for the Versailles Palace can only be purchased online. The public is not permitted to use any actual ticket counters.
  • Visitors have been asked to utilize the ground markers to enable social distancing and to keep a distance of one meter between themselves and others.
  • For the protection of guests, sanitizer dispensers have been provided at each entrance.
  • Throughout the length of their tour, guests must wear high-quality masks that protect their face and mouth.
  • While the fountain shows and music in the gardens will resume as before, there will be no night fountain presentations in June. Until further notice, all opera and concert performances have been canceled.
  • Visitors are not authorized to enter the premises with heavy backpacks or bags.
  • To reduce visitor overlap, the entrance and exit points have been marked. Please double-check the information on your ticket.

  • SNCF trains arrive at Versailles Chantiers station, an 18-minute walk from Paris Montparnasse train station.

  • With these Chateau Versailles tickets, you will be able to bypass the ticket office and proceed directly to Gate A.
  • The gardens and Trianon Palace can only be visited before or after the Grand Apartments.

The Versailles Palace hours have not changed since COVID-19. It is closed only on Mondays. It is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (last entry at 5:00 p.m.) from April 1 to October 31; from November 1 to March 31, it is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (last entry at 05:00 PM).

The King’s State Apartments, The Queen’s State Apartments, The Hall of Mirrors, The Gallery of Battles, and The Trianon Estate are all essential elements of the Versailles Palace that will be open after COVID-19.

Музыкальные фонтаны в Версале

Гордость Версальского дворца – музыкальные фонтаны. Разноцветные струи воды, танцующие под красивую музыку, вызывают восторг посетителей.

Такие водные шоу, продолжающиеся 10-15 мин, начинаются с 10 утра и периодически повторяются до вечера.

В представлении участвуют главные королевские фонтаны: фонтан Нептуна, Зеркальный фонтан и фонтан «Театр воды».

Кроме того, в Версале несколько раз в неделю устраивается «Ночь фонтанов», заканчивающаяся великолепным фейерверком.

По субботам в Королевской галерее организуются балы, в которых участвуют танцоры, одетые в костюмы времен Людовика XIV. С их помощью желающие попробуют научиться танцу эпохи Короля-Солнце.

Бюджетный вариант – торговые точки, продающие фастфуд и еду на вынос.

После вкусного обеда не забудьте купить сувениры – на дворцовой территории найдете много сувенирных лавок.

Можно ли фотографировать в Версальском дворце

В отличие от многих всемирно известных музеев, фотографировать в Версале разрешено везде. Плата за эту услугу не взимается.

Единственное ограничение заключается в запрете на использование фотовспышки.

Что привезти из Версаля

Разнообразных сувениров в Версале много, хотя цены на них королевские.

Так, чайная пара, украшенная вензелями, обойдется в 60-80 евро, ароматическая свеча из Грасса – 40-50 евро.

Но можно ограничиться подарками поскромнее: карандашами и блокнотами по 5 евро, шейным платком за 20 евро.

Вот еще немного информации, которая пригодится при посещении Версаля:

  1. Дворец состоит из 2300 комнат, но для туристов открыта только их часть. Самые интересные места – Зеркальный зал, апартаменты Марии Антуанетты, спальня Людовика XIV и Зал коронации, посвященный возведению на трон Наполеона I.
  2. По огромному парку удобно ездить на велосипеде – дадут напрокат за 6 евро в час.
  3. Если желаете путешествовать с комфортом – возьмите в аренду электромобиль, но понадобятся водительские права, паспорт и кредитная карта, на которой будет заблокирована сумма залога.
  4. В одноименном городке, расположенном рядом с поместьем, работает блошиный рынок с 300-летней историей. Среди обычных безделушек встречается старинная фарфоровая посуда и другие раритеты.

Версаль – удивительное по красоте место, олицетворяющее целую эпоху в истории Франции.

Осматривая этот символ величия королей, как будто переносишься на несколько веков назад, во времена роскоши, дворцовых интриг, страстей и тайн, которые надежно скрывают старинные залы.

И, конечно, сильные впечатления производит личность Людовика XIV, талантливого и эксцентричного монарха, известного фразой:
